Challenge # 9 - One + One

Our next challenge is all about maximizing our supplies.

Gather the following supplies:
1.) 2 pcs patterned paper, not 1 not 3 but 2, eventhough you cut a pp i.e., flowers, letters, words, or phrases from pp it's counted as one, doublesided pp is counted as one not two =)
2.) 2 pcs card stock (again not 1 not 3 but 2)
3.) lots and lots of embellishments in your stash

Now here are the simple rules
1.) create a 12x12 LO with the following requirements:
2 pcs patterned paper
2 pcs card stock
Title must have 2 words
the good deal is you can embellish as much as you like from your stash

now for that extra challenge...
2) create a card with the remaining supplies
you must use the scraps from item #1 (scraps of pp and cs)
your sentiment must have 2 words i.e., Happy Birthday, Thank You etc.
again the good deal is you can can embellish as much as you like from your stash!

Remember, this challenge should come in pair, not just a LO, not just a card, it must be both!

Christmas is a family reunion in our clan, it's always a double celebration because my parents wedding anniversary falls on Christmas eve. Every year my loving parents will put up a homemade Xmas tree made out of the Indian tree, trimming off the leaves and just leaving the branches, which they will cover with crepe papers and then decorate with lights, hanging toys or whatever comes to their minds. Then they will set up a small fence around the tree and we will fill them with lots and lots of gifts for the whole family. By 12 midnight Christmas time, my Mama will sit by the tree and play Santa! The excited kids and even the "young once" will gather around the tree as they await for their names to be called. You can hear us screaming, cheering, laughing as we open our gifts, and even begging Santa Mama for some more!

Xmas tree - used the MM ornament chipboard as template for Xmas tree, cut and curl cs, paint with glaze, glittered and decorated with shimmer trim and punched cut outs
