She by Soox

Materials Used

Scenic Route patterned paper, yellow and green Bazzil cardstock, black Colormates cardstock, Heidi Grace Alpha, rick racks

Paper cutting. Although I am very poor with scissors, I tried this technique to create a stack flower look. The patterned paper is very nice, Elvira from MWL recommened it to me when she saw the rick rack ribbons that I bought.

Paper tearing. My sister told me before that I can make a career out of paper tearing. Not because I tear nicely, but because I use it in most of my LOs, cards, invitations. I tore the black cardstock without any sense of directions. Then, I colored it with my white gel pen.

Doodling. My current fave. I wrote my journal freestyle and created my own font (haha!) in white gel pen. I then put three dots each on some of the letters in pink gel pen.

She designed a life she love. Celebrate her.

Paper tearing, edging, decorative scissors. I scanned an old photo, cropped and converted to b&w using Photoshop.

I was only 7 yrs old when my Dad started working overseas and we've spent numerous holidays and special occassions celebrating without him. He comes home for a Christmas vacation only once every 2 years that's why Christmas has always been my favorite holiday. I've always look forward to his homecoming... when my family will hear mass and eat noche buena together.

Dine In by Soox

Materials Used

My favorite --- Colormates cardstock (indi ko alam kung bakit gusto ko yung non-textured na cardstock), red SEI buttons, scrap patterned papers which I had used in the LO that I made for Beth and that was given by Abby (ang haba ng intro), Bo Bunny Alpha stickers.

I long wanted to use the pictures for an LO but I was stucked with my ABC album thus couldn't move forward to start other LOs (Thanks to Benga for the challenge!). I decided to use red cardstock because of the Pizza Hut logo. I then cut diamond shapes using the patterned paper that Tita Abby gave me, edged it with Cocoa chalk, then put it on top of the patterned paper and the pictures. The thing that I liked the most of is the square brackets hahaha, I used my white gel pen to create it and I loved it! This white pen and I will go a long way, even Dawter T loves it! For people like me who likes to doodle, this is manna from heaven.
