Challenge#29 Guest Judge

We would like to introduce our guest judge for this challenge. She's none other than, Piradee. You've probably seen her work, gracing the walls of Made With Love as she's currently on their design team. Aside from MWL, she's also part of the team of two famous manufacturers, American Crafts (yey for Thickers! *wink*) and Collage Press. And, the list doesn't end there. She's also a design team member of Dream Girls Divas and 52 Sketches... 52 Weeks.

Wow! (yes, same sentiments!)

With that, we just want to share with you that our challenge this month was very much inspired by this recent layout she designed for American Crafts, her October calendar. How cute and awesome is that!?!

Do check out her amazing work at http://piradee.blogspot.com!

PIRADEE : Thank you so much from all of us here at Scrappers At Sg.

Ribbon flower

This is my first tutorial, so please bear with me *wink*
Do you have tons of ribbons and buttons in your stash? It's time to create something out of the ordinary...

The supplies: ribbon, button, needle and thread

1. cut 5 strips of ribbon approx. 2.25 inches 2. make a loop for each strip and stitch in place, repeat for all 5 strips
just stitch them at the center to form a flower like this

3. stitch the button in the middle

and now you've got a loopy ribbon flower to embellish your LO, card or just about anything!

Here are the other variations:

Have fun and until my next tutorial, happy scrapping!

Hope by Cecel

Journal:

Although the doctor told us that we have zero chance of natural pregnancy, we never lost HOPE. Yes, we felt sad for a while, but we believe God will lead the way. And He led us to IVF.

After almost 2 months of frequent visits to the hospital, weeks of self injection, ultrasounds and medications, we were blessed with 2 embryos. Now, we are waiting and praying that both of them will implant. Hoping that we will be blessed with a boy and a girl.

Hope by Benga

Journaling:
2008 was another topsy-turvy year for me
I hoped to land on a better job but still stuck into where I am
I hoped to be released of my bugging nasal congestion but still have difficulty breathing from time to time
I hoped to accomplish a lot more other things but barely did half of them
I hoped to come home to celebrate Christmas just like it used to be but instead came home with sadness...
I hoped and prayed for a miracle... and received the greatest Christmas gift.. Mama survived another battle.
We just got to have faith and continue to pray for guidance to lead us the way and for strength to fulfill what we are hoping for.
There is always hope never lose it!
