I am from Singapore … almost 6 years ago I got hooked on this craft after the birth of our first born. My style seems to be evolving and ever changing ( I get bored very easily :) and currently I love to express myself on paper using eclectic ,vintage chic elements. I count myself fortunate to have my works in print in US scrapbooking/ papercraft magazines and UK/French/Swedish/ Australian's scrapbooking magazines and idea books. Currently, I design for GCD Studios, Glitz Designs and recently been asked to join Melissa Frances. I am also honored to have the opportunity to debut my first class in June with my local store!

PAMELA YOUNG

Hello! My name is Pamela Young, and I absolutely LOVE scrapbooking. It is a way of life for me. :) I also make cards, alter, paint, sew and quilt! My style keeps evolving. I love to try new things. People have told me that they will see something by me and know it is mine before reading who did it. So I must have the "Pamela" style. :) I have been published in several different magazines (Cards, Creating Keepsakes, Memory Makers, Scrapbooks and Cards Today, Scrapbooks Etc, and Scrapbook Trends). Currently I am designing for My Little Shoebox, Tattered Angels, Punky Sprouts and Helmar Adhesives. I also write for ScrapStreet magazine. I live in the very beautiful state of Colorado. I am a SAHM to two wild boys, ages 7 (well almost 7) and 5, and a 1 yr. old baby girl. They grow up so fast. I am enjoying life right now, even though it can get a bit chaotic. I have a wonderful husband who is supportive of my crafting obsession. We have been married for 10 years. Family plays a big part in my life.

I am a scrapper from The Philippines, a wife and a mother to two sweet girls Nicole who is five years old, and Cheska is one year old. I rarely plan my pages – I let a photo or a patterned paper inspire me and I take it from there. I love the shabby chic and romantic style but I also enjoy working with bold patterns and striking colors. I’m an ink and paint type of person. I just have to get it a little messy to consider my page done. If I don’t have ink and paint on hand, then I just tear little bits of elements and stick it randomly for the sheer fun of it.

I am fortunate to be designing for Prima Marketing, Webster’s Pages, and Lily Bee. I am also part of a sketch site which is Pencil Lines, and a color challenge site: The Color Room. One of the things I consider to be among my accomplishments in the crafting industry is to have been named as one of the 2008 Memory Makers Magazine Masters. My work has appeared in scrapbook magazines and books and I am thankful for the blessings which have come my way as an artist. I will continue to be thankful for the happiness and fulfillment that I get from this craft.

Challenge #31 : Guest Judge

Hi, I’m Sarah. I live in the sunny (most of the time) state of California, United States. Scrapbooking has always been a part of my life since my high school days, but it has recently become an everyday activity (aka. addiction)! On top of being a hobby, it helps me relax and relieve my stress. Besides, the best part about scrapbooking is there is no right or wrong way to do it, so I can never make a mistake at something I love!

I started scrapbooking as a way to write about my life and to document my struggles, thoughts, and dreams. Never in my wildest imaginations did I think that I would be able to create with such amazing design teams, see my work in printed publications, or be teaching at a handful of local scrapbook stores. Seriously, it’s been an amazing adventure.

...and yes, I'm that girl that always scraps about her oh-so-adorable dogs, Maui and Hilo.

Challenge#29 Guest Judge

We would like to introduce our guest judge for this challenge. She's none other than, Piradee. You've probably seen her work, gracing the walls of Made With Love as she's currently on their design team. Aside from MWL, she's also part of the team of two famous manufacturers, American Crafts (yey for Thickers! *wink*) and Collage Press. And, the list doesn't end there. She's also a design team member of Dream Girls Divas and 52 Sketches... 52 Weeks.

Wow! (yes, same sentiments!)

With that, we just want to share with you that our challenge this month was very much inspired by this recent layout she designed for American Crafts, her October calendar. How cute and awesome is that!?!
